Organization of the 2011 "Gas Pro" Spelling Bee Competition


  • Matches on May 25th, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. at the Travellers' Beach Resort, Negril
  • The competition comprises 10 primary schools in Westmoreland

Contruction of new classrooms at the Mount Airy All Age School, Mount Airy, Westmoreland
  • The Mount Airy All Age School was laid out and built in 1994 for 240 students
  • Currently about 580 students are attending the lessons partly under unappropriate conditions, 200 of them in a second (rented) building apart from the main building
  • Parents'  representatives and principal have set up a budget for the erection of two new classrooms in the yard of the main building with a board structure on a solid concrete foundation
  • The total investment is estimated at about 5.000 US-$
